COME HERE TO RELAX
As we planned CASA CAROLINA CHACALA we selected the theme Mexican Mediterranean Riviera architecture to offer a taste of traditional Mexico and the conveniences of modern construction. We especially wanted to build our casa to accommodate the handicapped and less mobile visitors who would not otherwise be able to enjoy the beauty of the Mexican Riviera. The house has an elevator, ramps, handicap bars to afford convenience and safety.
The casa includes three spacious bedrooms with their special views, an overflow den-study, great room, kitchen with breakfast nook, palapa dining area and sitting areas, patio, outdoor grill and pool. All bedrooms, den and kitchen are air-conditioned.
CASA CAROLINA CHACALA is located in the gated community of Orofino, just south of Chacala in a jungle/orchard setting on the side of a cliff overlooking the Pacific. At the top of the mountain just behind the casa is an extinct volcano crater and hiking trails. The views of the Pacific Ocean to the west, Chacala Beach and restaurants to the north and the jungle, mountains and shoreline to the south are breathtaking. The awesome sunsets seen from the rooftop are unforgettable.
The house is approximately 5,000 square feet and has Canadian satellite TV, Mexican and Vonage telephones, high speed wifi and filtered, drinkable water.
Margarita, our house manager, is an excellent cook and prepares gourmet meals. You are encouraged to discuss your meal plans with her, as she speaks English and Spanish. Baldo, our gardener, attends our many plants, flowers, patios and yards.
Casa Carolina can sleep up to 12 people at a price of $650/night. Discounted rates are available for smaller groups and during the off-season.
